This tilt top table was an attempt to combine traditional forms of American furniture as well as designs found in American traditional tattooing, primarily sailor tattoos. The designs on the table top are inlayed marquetry. After being drawn up, the veneer was cut on a laser cutter and the table top was engraved on the CNC to fit the veneer perfectly.
